Die Einrichtungselemente, mit denen wir unser Leben teilen, sind Ihrer Funktion folgend unverrückbar konventionalisiert: Der Stuhl signalisiert Sitzen, der Tisch Stellen oder Ablegen,
der Schrank Stapeln und Verstauen usw., usf.. Mittels eines einfachen Werkzeugs — der Schraubzwinge — wird dieses geordnete Neben- und Beieinander radikal außer Kraft gesetzt.
Die klassischen Versatzstücke der Einrichtung werden nicht nur aus ihrem tradierten Kontext gerissen, sie werden zur Verfügungsmasse, zu einer Art Halbzeug für ein spontanes und
permanent neu zu komponierendes Szenario.
The furnishing elements we share our lives with are uncontrovertibly conventionalized in function. The chair signals sitting, the table putting or placing something, the closet stacking and storing, etc., etc. By means of a simple tool, the screw clamp, this orderly side-by-side and next-to
arrangement is radically suspended. The typical clichés of the furniture are not only torn from their traditional context, but also become available matter, that is a kind of semifinished
product for spontaneously and constantly composing a new scenario.
